Who we are
Heron Rock Bistro was founded in 2005 by Andrew Moffatt and Ben Peterson. Their vision then was to create a place for locals to come and enjoy delicious food made with quality ingredients. For the past 18 years we have been doing just that.
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, host live musicians on Monday and Saturday nights, as well as happy hour every day from 3pm-5pm & 8pm-Close.
With daily brunch and dinner features there will always be something new for you to try!
ANDREW MOFFATT
Owner/operator
Andrew was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. It was there that he first fell in love with the restaurant industry. He is also an owner of our sister restaurant, Crooked Goose Bistro. Andrew loves chatting with our guests and connecting with the community of James Bay.
Chris started at Heron Rock as a dishwasher shortly after we opened in 2005. Since then he has worked almost every position at the restaurant, including a short stint in front of house. It was a no brainer when the opportunity came to buy into the restaurant in 2017.
